About this training

At Shapers, we’ve carefully crafted one- and two-day LXD training programs that are highly interactive, collaborative, and easily applicable. These programs are designed with you in mind. From years of international training experience, we have learned that every organization has its own strengths, goals, and challenges. That’s why each day is structured in a way that ensures all essential topics are covered while leaving enough space to zoom in on specific challenges and questions that may arise.

What to expect

Our one- and two-day program are setup in a similar way. They are specified to your level of expertise, needs and expectations. That’s why a thirty-minute call to prepare is included. This enables us to better understand who you are and how to best serve you. Of course, a second day gives more time to go in depth with LXD and work on your designs in more detail. But that’s not the only difference. For comparison, this wat you can expect in one or two days:

During our one-day training you will:
  • Cover the essentials of learning experience design.
  • Get support and detailed feedback from our expert trainers.
  • Work on a tailored assignment relevant for your organization.
  • Get hands on with the Learning Experience Canvas.
  • Get a copy of "This is learning experience design" for all participants.
  • Earn a certificate of completion.
During our two-day training you will also:
  • Work on your own project instead of the tailored assignment.
  • Try other LXD tools like the empathy map for learners.
  • Develop a shared language and approach for designing learning experiences.
  • Dive deeper into the LX design process.
  • Get more time to design, reflect, ask questions, and try new things.

The successful application and implementation of LXD in an organization depends on various factors, like individual design skills, finding the right tools to collaborate and having a shared design approach. Together, we will work on all those factors to ensure that at the end of your training you are ready to move forward with learning experience design.
